Many golfers who enjoy coming to Tenerife year after year will have noticed that the quality of the golf courses is improving. Originally, Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf were THE courses to visit, but they have been taken over both in quality and length by Abama, Golf Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos Golf and Buenavista. As 
these venues mature and the planned new courses come on stream, Tenerife will grow to be as important a golf holiday venue as Southern Spain and Portugal (and perhaps even Florida and the Carolinas).
